The New Display Unit

Yesterday night, while I'm on my way home in the bus 156, reading one of my comic book. i felt my spider sense is tingling, and my hand phone ring. its my wife. i answered the phone and she yell out, the delivery guys are at our door!! they have sent us our display unit. So i get down from the bus 156 and change into a TAXI, and swing away back home asap. I quickly rush up to my house. And they sent in our unit. We spent an hour for the final cleaning up and set up the lighting power cord. My wife do the honor for taking out all her Precious Moments statues and i help her display it in a proper manner.







Here is the over all look of the display unit. the have blue lights out from each glass panel.










This the first layer of the display. We decide to put the figures that we brought or been given to us during our wedding. The two bears are what we use to put in front of our wedding car on our wedding day.









We chose the third layer for the figures that we brought for our son Jor-El, so that Jor-El's Koko and JieJie can enjoy when they come to our house.






This Last two picture are the set of figures we brought for Jor-El, the plastic display u see are brought at $19.90 if you buy the entire set of 6 figures. there are just some of the few.

We've Got Our Trophy Back

Yesterday night mark a new chapter for Manchester United, as they are crown the new Champions of the Premier League from now till the end of next season. It a great feeling that my son will be born in the year where they are champions. 9 champions in total of 15 premier league season. A great accomplishment.

Buying Back our Youth

When was the last time your eyes glow in excitement. When was the last time you feel like a kid again. I think when you are 20 plus years old and have spent most of your time studying or working, in such a fast and furious pace in singapore. Yesterday we had a glimse of getting back our youth when Aaron brought a set of Transformer toys from a nike shoe to a Autobot and a Decepticon.



It cost $140 for the pair of toys, but just a day away and the price when up to $189 per pair. Its only has a run of 100,000 set world wide. Some people say its to expensive. To me it depending on what makes you tick. Some one will tick when he sees camera, some on comics, some on shoes, to me Marvel Comics Bust. (Around $80-90) run of 2000 to 5000 to 12000 world wide.

So work hard and enjoy. Delay gratification. Don't just buy when you feel like it. The feeling its not the same. You will cherish your stuff more.

A Date with Spidey

Hello there.. Just a day after Labour Day. Few hours just before day break. i woke up by the Thunder and lighting outside the windows. As i woke up to get ready to go for work. to meet my students. But before i kiss my wife and son to be before i leave the house. i woke up and catch a glimpse of Liverpool Win against Chelsea in their Champions League match up. Liverpool win on Penalty Shoot Out. Tonight Its our turn to Shine. Manchester United against AC Milan. Pls Pray for me that they will win over AC, and meet Liverpool in Athens for the Finals.
But rain and soccer a side. This post is about yesterday, when me and my wife went to watch the Spiderman 3, in bugis junction, it quite a experience cause i brought the 4K digital version of the movie, as the screen is in a higher resolution. It was as good as watch DVD at home. As stated this is the last of the spiderman movie that the director is directing. so i had a expectation that he will be answering most of the issue from the previous 2 movies. But i felt lost at the middle of the movie as he is trying to tell us about the Venom, how it changes Peter. To me it felt a little to long, trying to hard to show the its powers. I call up my Nephew a 5 year old boy. (Julian, you guys know him. he's in my blog too). that night after the show to ask him whether he like the movie. to my expectation my sis told me that he slept in the middle of the movie.

There be Spoilers ahead (For those who haven't watch the show)
But he sure love the Fight between Sandman, venom, green goblin and Spiderman. But he was sure fire up to tell me that Sandman is not coming back. he is dead in the movie, as i quickly added a line from the movie telling julian that spidey forgive marko for killing his uncle ben by mistake.
To me the entire movie is about forgive and forget. As one line that i learned from the movie is from Aunt May. When she told peter, when peter told her about hurting Mary Jane, she says "the hardest thing you need to do is to forgive yourself". and almost at the end of the movie when harry, the green goblin forgive spidey for killing his father, and team up with him to fight sandman and Venom. And at the end of the movie when spidey forgive marko, and sandman turned into a sand cloud and fly over to the sunrise. But the ending was the same too, peter when to the pub that MJ was working as a singer waitress, they hugged after peter when to her while she is singing, showing she forgive peter.

After the movie, we when towards the poster area where they have the latest up coming movies. im so fireup to see Transformer, one of my childhood cartoons. so my wife make me stand infront of the standee and took a picture with Optimus Prime Vs Megatron. Here is the Picture

Hi there, so sorry that i have not been blogging for the past few days. It quite a interesting weekend. Cause one Sat, my heart was once in a very heavy state once as Manchester United, was down with 2 goals at one time. but they come back with a score line of...............(coming soon)
Then Sunday was Nicole Birthday.. where we celebrate her birthday at Jake's place marina.... more picture to come...

Class KoKo JieJie Lesson One

Hello Jor-el,
Today im going to give you your first Home School Lesson, it will be on Koko and Jie Jie..
This are the few person that will be in part of your life. Mommy and i love them to death.. and i believe they will love you as much as we love them. Do onto others as how other do upon you..
Love that as much... they will love you back the same.

First Up (Julian Tay Yu Chen KoKo) His your Cousin, his daddy Jie Jie Son. You need to respect him like your Brother. cause he had been a very good boy listening to his daddy an mommy.. he aready pass you a lot of his cloths to you and he say he will share his toys with you too. Mommy and Daddy love him so much too.. and he will give as a big hug and a very wet kiss to sent us off. and he love to swim. he say he will teach u swiming when you grow up..

Second (Nicole JieJie - Left Amanda JieJie - Right)

Nicole is Daddy primary school classmate Daughter.. we have know each other for 27 year to this date. We are like a family.. and Nicole had the loudest voice i ever heard. you can actually hear her from the Next Block of Building. Awesome Voice.
Amamda Jiejie..what can i say.. she like his parents a treating everyone like their Brothers and sisters. inparting knowledge to daddy and mommy every time we meet. And Amanda keep calling for Daddy everytime we see each other.. i miss her as much as she miss me.

Third (Vivian JieJie)

Vivian Jiejie this the daughter of mommy and daddy secondary school classmate. we know aunty Lomawati for 21 year this date. Vivian is the most cheerful person i ever see runing around the house when we go visit her and she love to sing. takeing anything that looks like a mic and start singing she love to take pictures too. mommy say she looks like a Hong Kong Actress..haha.. yet she sill take care of his younger brother. Reagan.

The lesson will end for now.. once i got more pictures. mommy or daddy will give you more lesson.

A Gift For you..

Hi there, daddy and mommy went to get the set of statues of baby from precious moments for us. its a set of 6 statues.. with a Backdrop to house the statues. which i will post up when the display unit comes. haha..now i can have a chance to put up my Marvel Statues too.. hit two birds with one stone.

SPIDER-MAN THE MUSICAL

Yes, you hear it right, it spiderman the musical into Broadway. Marvel have confirm with the news that .. they are going to produce a musical base on Spiderman. As a fellow comics collector the news comes with a shock.. Spidey..a musical??? wat are they going to sing?

Marvel Studios has confirmed that plans are underway to produce a Broadway musical based on Marvel’s ever popular Super Hero, Spider-Man. Produced by Hello Entertainment/David Garfinkle, Martin McCallum, Marvel Entertainment, and SONY Pictures Entertainment (billing in formation), the musical will be directed by Tony Award-winner Julie Taymor with U2’s Bono and The Edge creating new music and lyrics for the project. A reading is scheduled to take place this summer. No dates for a Broadway opening have been confirmed at this time.

The Spider-Man musical will mark the first time a Marvel character has been the subject of a show on Broadway. In addition to co-producing the show, Hello Entertainment is arranging all financing for the project.
"Marvel continues to look to every entertainment medium to support the enduring popularity of our Super Heroes, and we are thrilled with the talent on board. The all star creative team -- led by Julie Taymor, Bono and The Edge -- is second to none and we are certain this project will delight fans of Spider-Man and new audiences alike," said David Maisel, Chairman, Marvel Studios, whose previous Broadway credits include spearheading the 1999 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Fosse. Got a new Sony Ericsson K800i yesterday.. its a 3.2 mega pixel camera phone..
already with a PDA HP Ipaq.. is it a Investment or Luxury?
Why investment?... starting the blog for my son.. i will have tons and tons of things to show him when he go up..so why not use a good camera HP to take down every moment.. as they say a picture speak more then a thousand words.

So here are the spec.. its not the best.. but good enough.. for me
